Interesting turbo build based on 650 Maxim

2nd video more detailed of the build

no internal motor mods, adds testament to the durability of the standard XJ

    thank you, I appreciate that.
His method of tapping the oil filter cover to feed pressurized oil to the turbo would have been better if he just used the diverter plate Yamaha supply with their oil cooler.
An oil cooler should have been installed to.

That thing looks like it's made as a joke on summer holiday. Original head gasket, no oil cooler, draw through turbo, very questionable way to fit oil lines, claimed 100hp bike with original breaks and cut springs in front end, m-unit system installed and next to it you put a waco connector that is for indoor AC connections, rattle can paint DETAILED WITH MARKER and the list is endless. It's one thing to build your own project for yourself but to do something this iffy as a customer job, this is just not cool even if customer is willing to pay for it. When that thing goes kaboom in a middle of a desert, oils its brake pads, locks its engine and ends up killing that poor guy who payed cash money for "customizing" it - I think that would really mess my good night sleep if I was the builder. And don't get me wrong, I can see myself building something that iffy and dangerous, riding it and having best time ever. And I do appreciate effort put in that build, in my opinion you just can't cut corners with customer work, especially if you risk engine life, rideability and sufficient braking ability while increasing power, all in one build.

Roger that, based on the stock specs I'd think punching it out to 820cc - with the inherent compression boost - along with some porting/polishing and freeing up the intake/exhaust would get you close to 100hp with none of the downsides.
