Help me pls !!!! timing cover broke when wrecked

    Ok so i wrecked my 83 750 midnight maxim and broke the timing cover and pretty much everything inside of there. I've never had to mess with anything like this and really have no idea what im doing but i need a new timing plate it looks like (will put picture of what im talking about) and if so i have no idea where i could source one

    Is the case damaged? If so that will need tig welded to keep water out. Hard to tell from your photograph.

    While the 750 midnight Maxim end-covers were special to that bike, they are also the same covers that were used on the 900’s….the difference in black/gold vs brushed aluminum is the only difference. You can swap with those then paint them. ALSO, the REGULAR 650/750 and 700 covers ALSO fit. They just don’t have quite the same look as the tw0-piece covers…….otherwise, THEY just bolt right on, too.
