    I am in the process of disassembling and cleaning my Maxim's Carbs which sat outside for about seven years...

    I found this article which breaks down the breakdown for a Hitachi carb...thought there might be some individuals who would be interested.

    Well, that's not bad, but be aware that "our" Hitachi carbs are not constructed quite the same as the one pictured in that linked thread above......some aspects of those photos are correct, and some will leave you scratching your head!

    Thanks for the heads up...to be honest, I would have been "scratching my head" even if the pictures had been exact duplicates of "our" carbs...
