My 700 just says YAMAHA
700 is YICS whether it says so on the engine sides or not
I’ve never seen interchangeable covers between YICS and non- YICS
Yep- plenty of room to throw down a tent, or blanket....
one year a guy brought just a tarp. He staked the tarp out, then slid under it— lol
Hey everybody— here’s the official announcement
CNYCC#13 is scheduled for June 13, 2020.
time to start planning!! It’s only 5 months away :)...
As long as you make sure that you have the correct angle—— and, obviously, the correct diameter hole for the handlebar
Check the tach cable
Or replace the tach. They’re common enough
And then plan on attending the Central New York Carb Clinic #13 on June 13, 2020
Where did you order from? I bet it wasn’t from LEN CHACAL!
Contact him at: firstname.lastname@example.org
-Mirrors are not correct either
- missing the red caps on the anti-dive valves
Where in Canada are you? There’s a company right here in Utica that I use a lot.... they are THE best in the whole area.
Glad to hear from you!
Uh- huh, yeah, suuuuure
Either that, or sounds to me more like the shaft isn’t in the u-joint ) cross-joint properly.
Accord? Civic? S-series? N-series? L-Series?
Forum title says it all. I hope Seca Claus has put a lot of goodies under your triple tree.
Do you have cookies enabled?
Pretty harsh 1900 miles!!! And that’s not even considering all the missing parts
Engines are plentiful
Chrome would be difficult
Makes ya wonder why the black paint had to be redone if there’s only a little over 3k on it, doesn’t it?
Sure could use a lot of that —- would you reconsider shipping? I’d pay for the shipping
1981 wont be a 650 seca. Hey Max, wanna ship to NY again ?
Mike, I just sent you a lengthy pm
Nobody else noticed the front turn signals?!!? Lol
Fly!!! Haven’t seen you in a long long time!! Good to see you again
I MIGHT have a rack... I’ll check tomorrow
ELECTRICAL CURRENT is what causes the starter to spin
And I think people mean USA
Depends what you mean by “a few mm off”....
I’m not too keen on riding a bike where the line between life and dirt is only a few mm wide. It’s...
That’s not the same thing as the xj550r. That’s the point.
Well, yeah...... when everyone assumes you mean the common 750 seca wheel. That’s a good lesson for everyone to clarify exactly which bike model...
That’s an’86 xj700 airhead that would theoretically be bored out of the 999 is correct. It’s NOT a 900r engine on it. To bore a 700 out to 1000...
Talk with Len ---
I bet he has loads in stock
EVERYONE who has a 650rj is always watching. Good luck. That said,
I have SOME exhaust parts.....send me a private message...
I bet you won’t get a 550r rim for $20
XJ4EVER has a variety of jets, there is no other better source
Nope— it was 17 degrees and 2” of snow on the ground this morning
There’s also the:
650 turbo seca
650 non turbo seca
which are you looking for?
Clutch and shifter covers are swap-able, paint-able, engine covers are available as aftermarket parts, etc.....and cover several models and years....
It’s an ‘80/‘81 based on the current engine. It is possible to be an ‘82/‘83 with a replacement engine from an earlier bike, though unlikely....
Private message sent
I can’t remember the conversation/forum but I THINK there was a issue with a 650r..... maybe someone can find that forum
Also be aware of others who have had issues with this seller
It’s not an ‘84
81 is a non-YICS
82 is YICS
So intake boots and head are different
Now... if your trip takes a lot longer than you anticipate, you can always arrive in central NY in time for the 13th annual Central NY Carb Clinic...
Adrian is ok.... he’s not a spammer
So you have a disc brake rear wheel?!?!
That one is an ‘85
