What is the full size? 130/ /18. I'm in the middle of my build now and would like to see a wider tire on the rear

Im running 130 on my 750 maxim. Had to grind a weld a little smoother cause it was rubbing the raised letters but all is good now.

In the US we are allowed to change tire sizes without penalty.

I have run a 130 on my 550 Seca for years. I did have to remove the chain guard though. My bike felt more stable with the 130.

I've got a 4.00-18 (Avon) on my '83 550 Seca and it feels PLANTED. (I haven't run a 4.00-18 since I had my Triumph, back in the day.)

Going to a 120 (from the stock 110) on a 550 Seca is pretty much as far as you can go without mods, like chain guard removal.

That being said, you should be able to up ONE size on any of (most of) our bikes without issue. Which means a 650/750 Seca can do a 130 instead of the stock 120; a 550 Seca can run a 120 without issue; the only thing I can't speak from experience on is the Maxims. A 130 (16") is stock on both the 550s and 650/750 and I can't say if a 140 will necessarily fit in all instances.

The 130 was a bit of a pain to get by the wheel housing, a 140 may not fit past it.

Yeah no way a 140 would fit on a maxim 750 with the 16 rear.

I run 130/90-16's and it's always been a tighttt fit.

Just put on another today as a matter of fact
