1979 Kawasaki Z1R TC

    I thought this might interest a few. I spotted this bike among the thousands of bikes at the Canadian Vintage Rally this past weekend in Paris Ontario. This guy is the original owner. I spoke to him for a few minutes and he is really anal about this thing. There is nothing on it except maybe the tires which isn't original equipment. Read the article I've referenced and you'll know more. He was asking $22,000 CDN and according to the article this price is not out of align.

    The exhaust coming out from above the transmission looks so unusual to my eye. Just a weird line, not used to turbos!

    That is pretty much unique to that machine. They stuffed an off-the-shelf turbo into where it would fit, instead of developing a turbo of the correct size for the engine.
