If anyone has or sees a 1982 Seca 550 cowling decal available, could you please let me know? I have a spare cowling that I need the original decal for. No hurry or anything. I'd just like to find one eventually.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't had good experiences with ordering on-line decals for the 650 Seca. It's common for replacement decals to simply be printed vinyl. If the originals have a metallic finish, vinyl will never reproduce that, and they probably won't have the same quality as OEM. Even if you can get your hands on original Yamaha items you may run into problems, as ageing may render them useless. I encountered all of these issues. My painter refused to use the EBay or OEM decals and instead painted them by hand - they looked great but it wasn't cheap. It really depends on what your expectations are. Suggest you follow hogfiddles advise and contact XJ4Ever.

After chasing a couple original Yamaha decals supposedly available around the country, Len at xj4ever.com came through for me. He had a full decal set, or just the fairing decal available. Got the order in process now. Awaiting arrival of the decal.
