Bought it last year, it had been sitting for years in a covered porch. Engine was good, so I took things apart. Lots of cleaning, some painting, lots of replacement parts, mostly from xj4ever.com. New tires, battery, clutch. Per you guys' suggestions, I replaced the fuse box with a modern unit, and I replaced the front brakes with 90’s R6 calipers and rotors. Rear drum has new shoes. It has some super rare stuff like the Yamaha branded chain lock that sits in its own little tub under the seat, and of course the accessory Krauser bags and racks. I have keys for bike and bags.

Starts and runs just fine, low miles. Good pull up until about 5500 in all gears, simply a dumpy 80’s 650 four, then all hell breaks loose. I just did a couple of 150 mile days, including one that hit 100 degrees, and it gave me no trouble. New paint and decals, fairing parts are pretty solid (fiberglass!), windshield is new. I have a service manual and a copy of the owner’s manual.

Located in Greeley, Colorado, clean Colorado title. You will never run in to another while riding. I'm selling a couple of bikes to make room in the garage, time to rebuild the CBX. Asking $4,000.

It doesn't have the super rare State Farm sticker...

Seriously though, it's a nice looking bike!
