    We swapped things around--- his TCI was not cooperating with my bike, so he went home with a working one. His bike still did not cooperate, and it appears that one of the pickups may be the issue, so I'm going to try and pull pickups this weekend.

    I'm hoping he posts his readings here so we can get the electrical gurus working on this too....

    Hi, this is my very first post on this forum. I just bought an 82 750 Maxim that is missing the carburetors and need a set of carburetors complete. If you have them for sale let me know, price and condition. One more thing, the side covers, ditto, price and condition via email is cool. Thanks for a reply.

    Swapped out the pickups and it solved the problem--- his TCI was fine, too... he rode down earlier today to drop the test TCI off, and I balanced the carbs while he was here, too.... along with replacing a pair of broken reflectors, and a missing Ignition switch/handlebar cover :)

    Hi All,
    One of the members approached me about the ignition coils. I tested them and one was good and within spec. The other one has no resistance on the wires but it does on the plug boots and harness. Any ideas? $20 plus shipping if anyone wants them.
