Here is a before and after some exhaust work I did at my buddy's shop Dropkick Cycles in Evans Georgia. If anyone in the area there needs some bike work, I highly recommend going there. Awesome service, great pricing and does great work! I made the exhaust from 4 into 2 to 2 into 1 and put black header wrap on and two shorty exhaust tips with removable baffles

These next few pictures are where the major modifcations started to happen! Removed the motor to paint is black except for the main covers, and plan on grinding the edges of the cooling fins to have the edges silver. Completely removed the rear fender, but plan on making a removable seat for the rear so the misses can tag a long when she wants. Cut down the drivers seat and going to get it reupholstered. Took the front fender and flipped it around so more of the fender covers the rear of the tire. Have to make brackets for the rear signal lights and have to figure out what I'm going to do for the tail/brake lights. Have the gauges and head light removed and going to replace the gauges with digital gauges, so have lots of wiring fun to do in the next couple months! Also lowered the front end 3 inches! Thats where my bike sits so far, will post more pictures as the bike progresses! bike 13.JPG bike 16.JPG bike 17.JPG bike 18.JPG

Looks great! Please make sure to post pics of the engine after paint, I have a similar paint/polish scheme in mind. What materials (Paint/primer) will you be using?

Looking good. +1 on the paint you decide to use on the engine. can't wait to see pics since mines sitting on the garage floor waiting on me to blast it and prep it for paint.

If you place some 1/8ths inch thick washers between the fork brace and the forks, it'll raise the fender enough to have a 110/90/19 front tire. Looks a little more beefy.
