Wanted 650 Maxim Roller/Parts Bike

I've decided that I need to rebuild my Maxim. Spent a lot of time sourcing parts on my rebuild and would rather restore another instead of parting her out again. At a minimum I need a clean titled frame with complete front end and tank but I will consider a more complete bike. Preferably an 82 or newer but earlier years will work.

I'm in NE Ohio and I'm not in a rush.

I appreciate it! Seems like there is always a deal someone is posting here but whenever I look at CL etc. there’s nothing or over priced.

 

750 frame different? I may know of a titled roller on my locale

I may inquire anyway, unless we're too far apart. Guy breaks a lot of bikes, there's a chance he would have a 650 titled roller as well, I just knew about the 750 from another member close to me looking for an engine.

 

Yeah Wisconsin is a good haul, the bike would practically have to be free to make shipping worth it.

@hogfiddles to the rescue! I have a Turbo bike here that I picked up for him awhile back and he has what I need, good excuse to make the trip out there and finally meet Dave. He'll get his Turbo and I'll get a roller. Thanks!
