    Second tank

    Both tanks hold fuel and have not leaked for me. Neither tank is perfect but the “ugly” tank is in better physical condition with one minor issue near top of arch on left side

    Hi Joe, I just bought a 82 XJ Maxim. The fuel tank is pretty rough and I'm looking for a replacement. How much are asking for the 2nd tank that you have showed.

    Yes. I still hve them. Not wanting to get rich off of them. I just don’t need this many spares. They both hold fuel. The pics really do speak for themselves. Somewhere here on the forum hogfiddles has also developed a fuel tank interchange thread. Since yours is a 550 I’d suggest looking that thread up first. There may be slight mods necessary using a 750 tank on a 550. Dang that’d look cool tho
