Have you swapped the small valve yet?
Oem one should be a straight metal one

You have to remove the tire to remove/replace the valve stem.
Is the stem leaking at the base, or is it leaking at the valve? The valve core is easy to replace and cheap to buy.
Schrader valve cores and tools can be found at any auto parts supplier, motorcycle shop, or bicycle shop.

What are the date codes on the tires? If they are more than 6 years old it's best to take the wheels in to have new tires fitted. The valve stems usually get done for free when you get new tires (in the States anyway).

Thanks I'll check the tyre dates
Presumably that will be on the tyre?

yes on tire it will be the week and year stamped into tire 4 digets.

you may be able to use the straight valve stems.

He can. I have straight valve stems on mine. They're not as convenient as angled ones though.
