Went for a nice 250km ride today. For those of you down close to the lake, i'm sure you've driven Lakeshore/Front Rd. I've never riden it so thought it would be a good choice.

WOW, most fun road i've found in southwestern ON so far! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice weekend ride!

    Here's my exact trip today:

All on one tank of gas, didn't even hit reserve!

Glad you had a good run! What's there at the end of Rogers Ave? (Point E on the route) Did you stop at the house at the end of the street? I hope the area was livelier today than when the satellite image was captured! LOL

Jeeze, ironic. I was down in Port Dover this morning (from Kitchener via Cayuga). didn't realize that Tavistock was just south of Stratford, not that far away. It was a nice day on bike though, that's for sure.

Roger's Ave is just a short street with cottages then turns into all boat houses.

My parents had a cottage there not long ago so I always take a run down that street when i'm down there.
Right at the end there's a little break in the bushes so you can see out over the inner bay.

I was surprised by how many bikes there were when I got to Dover. Prolly 75-100 i'd guess.

If you keep heading east along the shoreline past Port Dover the shore changes from step cliffs to rocky. The road also gets close to the lake and narrower its like driving down a real long driveway.

LOL I forgot to mention, when I was going through T'burg.

I saw a full out brawl between two guys on a front lawn. LOL it was quite funny heh.

On Oxford St., across the road from the big Pioneer gas station.

I've been manually creating my routes. I don't have a gps on the bike. :)
