    Way back when I was visiting my soon to be wife at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.. On the ride home (well after dark) down the G.W. Parkway, I discovered some sort of insect was spawning. The insects were so thick, I had to wipe my visor off several times just to be able to see! When I hit the Beltway (about 20 minutes later), I rode with my visor up as the guts were simply too thick to see through (fortunately, I ridden out of the spawning "zone" by then).

    Side note: did you know you can't park a motorcycle in a parking garage in D.C.? I did anyway--never failed to irritate the parking attendant.
