Looking for a cover that will fit the bike with the high sissy bar. It's difficult to tell from photos on the internet. Anyone with experience with this please chime in.

Looks like I might be installing that standard seat sooner than later.

I have a large sized cover that fits over the windscreen and the sissy bar/backrest on my 83 XJ550 Maxim. I bought the cover in 1985, so can't help with brand or style. I do think you could get a cover for a large cruiser bike that will work, but it won't be "form" fit.

Sure, you can get a medium size motorcycle cover at Walmart, some auto parts stores, motorcycle shops or eBay. Keeps it clean but not dry if left outside. I have one for all my bikes but they stay in a garage. I just buy a large size and let drape over the entire bike all the way to the floor. Works great unless the dog decides to remove it for a sleeping pad.

Oh, I was reading that to be a question for recovering the seat itself. My bad.

Yes the medium Walmart cover works fine

No worries. I found a large cover that fits the bike although for full coverage I may go a size larger. As far as the seat, the king/queen is growing on me. It really adds to the retro look. Some people I've talked to are surprised it's a 37 year old bike. Living in a college town, there are quite a few of the older bikes still ridden here.

With my windsceen and sissybar backrest I had to go large sized cover or it wouldn't cover wheels to the ground.
