Yes, but the brake path will be cleaned using brake pads.

Gumming up the pads in the process. Hit the rotors with a scotchbrite pad before you put them on the bike.

I know, but i'll use the old brake pads for this.

Meantime the crankcases has arrived, they come from United States via United Kingdom, just because many sellers from US don't ship to Romania.

I found a good exhaust system in US, but the shipping cost is huge...
Now i'm lookin' for cylinders, pistons & rods

The engine is fully dismantled, now i'm looking for all the ball bearings, plane bearings and gaskets. I found ball bearings replacement here in Romania, at Koyo factory, but the plane bearings will be a problem.

None of the ball bearings should need replacing, unless the engine has been sitting in a lake.
The clearances for ball bearing housings is standardized at 0.000 mm. The cases actually grab hen a bit to hold them in place.

The plain bearings can be a trick to get, since Yamaha no longer offers them. Chacal has a bit more knolwedge than I on what other bearings fit corectly.
