Going down early as well with a small group. I'll be bringing the youngest down with me (7) so he may need blinders ha! Should be a big day based on the forecast eh? Can't wait!

I will be going down with a group of cruisers on Thurs and camping for 2 days down by pier. Hope to find some fellow XJ lovers there. I would love to find some people close by that know about disassembling 1100 engines to swap out trans parts from the parts engine I have to my running one. i am a truck mechanic trying to make my XJ bulletproof. See all there.

I'm going to be there too - leaving London around 7:30am, so should be there around 9:30 or 10; and I'm planning on staying most of the day too.

Should we try to see who can meet up again? Say Timmie's at noon (as tradition)?

We really need to get a flag or something made up for these things....

It went well -- damn hot, but a good day, and a fun ride. I did manage to run into LostBoy in the afternoon, so that was cool. And met a new Maxim-X rider - parked beside him by accident, and managed to run into him.
Not as many bikes as I was expected - or maybe they were just parked more on the side streets than normal. Pretty much the number of people I expected -- though I'm actually thinking the heat managed to scare some of the folks off. The beach was plenty busy all day though.
Had a great day riding, methinks. I'm sure the party is still going on as I type this....

when i was there 2 years ago, the OPP and other locals told me everything is done and gone by 5pm. id like to see something run until like 10-11 at night and then give the local hotels and restaurants some business...

Oh god, those 5150 kickers are absolutely horrible. A bud and me built a couple from crates back 5 or so years ago.
