    Good Morning.

Had no leakege about six week ago. The bikes been sitting covered and began to leak. First I thought was oil but discovered fuel leak right below fuse box, new, comes through a little hole by gas line high above the shifter. Should I pull off the gas tank? Is it prob a cracked tube. Tnx, any advise would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum! We need to know what bike you have? That will help out in all the rest of the questions.
    1. I would guess that for some reason the gas petcock is on? That the fuel is leaking out of the carbs and out the overflow tubs that are located in that area.
    2. Is the bike on the center stand or the side stand?
    3. Have you worked on the carbs or is this a new bike to you and it just started happening?

The more you share the more we can help.

Lots of great folks on here with great information.

    Thank you !
I think petcock was on and that’s exactly where’s it’s leaking. I took pics and will try to post. The bike is new to me and I’m a bit of a novice. My friend said to maybe tap the carbs as the floats may be stuck. It will start and then die and begin to leak profusely. I’ve had it on the side stand covered. The new spark plugs seem very dirty and I will clean in the morning. I’m a little confused which is the proper off position for the petcock. Thanks !!

Yes, fuse holder is on top of air box and I looked in there and cleaned it. The filter was dry and clean but gas is leaking just in front...

    Chris,
way to go posting the pic and getting used to the board. On the top right of the page is a great place for information and parts. I suggest that you click on that and take the time to do some reading. It has so much information that you will be using.
Here are few to read through if you want to take the time.

If you are new to motorcycles I would like to suggest that you take a safety riding class. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation or ABATE have good novice riders classes.
