All good things must come to an end.

    I sold my 750 Max.
The guy was so happy to buy a tuned-up, de-bugged, runner, ... he gave me $1250.00 and his dad threw-in 50-bucks for having it washed and polished.

    I got a 900 and a garage full of 900 parts.

Will sell the whole shebang for 14-hundred.
    Bike.
Spare plant needing standard rings. Whole engine with less than 10K miles.
Head. Returned from Machine Shop. Done.

What you got for parts, Rick?
    A whole bikes-worth less a frame.

    PM with interests.

    That's sad to hear Rick.
It must be a difficult (yet wise) decision.

Did you tell the new 750 owner about this place?
He is one VERY fortunate fella.

Good luck with it Rick and all the other stuff going in your life.
If you weren't across the pond I would have been knocking on your door with the cash in my hand.
    Best wishes from Oz.

    Hi Rick,

I'd be interested in all your 900 stuff and of course the bike as well. Shoot me a message if you haven't sold everything already.

    Many thanks ................ Simon

(I'm in Mansfield, about 45 miles from you.)

It's a sign of the times..
I closed two retail stores in South America
One retail store in Miami because HHGREGG is now thenew kid on the block at the strip mall where i had my store.. they redid the plaza and raised the rent from $2,000. to $4,000.

    I couldn't survive so December 29th, 2013
    was my last day...
I had to dump my merchandise.

    Really?
This thread isn't about you losing money, closing stores or a sign of the times.
    Show some respect.

This is about Rick and his health creating a situation where he has to make decisions that I am not sure others could face up to.

Rick's store goes beyond material items; his knowledge and write ups are legendary.

Stumplifter I suspect that thejewishguy is unaware of the background'
thejewishguy do a little back searching for some background.
To be honest I'm amazed that Rick still has stuff to sell I remember when he posted a while ago and for what he had to offer it was a bargain all round.
Best wishes Rick and I thank you for the help you weren't even aware I was receiving.
    Thanks.
