I just noticed when Dezi's Seca was idling that the intake boots pulse quite drastically. They are cracked, but i sprayed some liquid wrench on them and no rpm change, so i'm gunna assume they're not sucking air.

Does the rubber normally pulsate on a bigger bore engine like this? Or are they toast and need replacing?

Yup, mine pulse at idle, and they're only about 3 years old.

You're probably alright, but still, I would repair those boots just to be sure... the last thing you need is any sort of air leak.
