Wanted Luggage Rack / Saddlebag Mounts / Luggage for '82 XJ750

    I am the mostly-happy new owner of a 1982 XJ750. I'd be happier if I could carry more stuff on it. Ideally I could find a sissy bar / luggage rack combo (just missed a sale of one on eBay today). I also wouldn't mind adding saddlebags.

    Do any of you fine folks have any of these parts for sale? If so, please let me know.

    Alternately, if you can point me in the right direction to commercial suppliers of compatible parts, I'd be most appreciative. Thank you!

    If youre ever in kitchener theres a scrapyard that ive been successful at finding multiple parts for my maxim, including my luggage rack. Zdeno cycle is the name, be prepared for crappy service and a ton of parts

    Shows brackets are black so would that be for seca? Or maxim

    The fit 650/750 maxim, 750/920 virago, and the pretty much anything else you want to fabricate some standoffs for.

    You can see a set on my black 650 full dress maxim in the showcase.

    I have a KG slider/backrest that I bought off feeBay. It was listed as fitting the "1982 Maxim XJ1100." I even asked the seller if it was missing a bracket or something, but he replied (after I bought it) that "it will mount with the hardware included."

    This is incorrect, sadly. Therefore I have no use for it, at this point. I believe it will fit most Maxim models from around that year, but ONLY if you have the hard bags and/or six pack rack already?

    Anyhow, if anyone knows what is missing to make it work, or wants it, let me know.
