Just picked up my first XJ 650, its a 1982 maxim the guy I bought it from lowered the seat and stretched it 3 inches. Welded on a custom subframe. The tank is off an early 80's DT 175. Pretty cool, I have it all tore apart right now, getting new fork seals and the wheels and lower fork tubes powder coated flat back. Have white walls for it and will recover the seat and put new grips on it. Will keep you all updated. I call it old school!
