Any tips on getting rid of that lock and chain ( power lock )? Of course The key to the bike doesn’t fit.

Pull the ignition switch off, see if the key code is still on the back of it. Have a key made, hopefully that hasn’t been swapped out. If you’re looking to eliminate it, use a hacksaw and cut the stud off, and send me the chain with the end of the stud still in it!

Oops- I was reading quick, and my brain said “no key”. I just looked back and saw “key no fit”.

could be ignition WAS swapped, or like 550H said, it may be dirty/sticky/corroded inside the power lock. Soak it for awhile like he said....

I ended up just cutting through the middle of the lock after I got the bike stripped down enough to get a grinder in there. I will be getting rid of a bunch of stock parts after I'm done with it. I'll post here and on Facebook.

Why did you cut the lock? If you had cut the post, someone could have used the lock. Now it’s dead.
