This might be a stretch but I was looking through the products and I was wondering if it would be at all possible to make some kind of shop calendar and put it up for sale, right now in my shop I have some indy car shop calendar that I got from somewhere and I hate it! I thought it would be cool to have an XJ specific shop calendar. How cool would that be! I have no clue how to do it though.

Ya know, now that I think about it a bit more, this isn't such a bad idea at that. A stern-looking RickCoMatic with "Check your brushes" in big bold letters. A pic of my 750 labeled "Rat Bike of the Year". Some pics from the carb clinics.

    Hmmm...

    I don't have a stern look. I'm a gray-haired (what's left of it), old, fat guy!

I got more Chins than there are in the Chinatown Phone book.

I just like keeping all you young studs tuned-up. I get a kick out of some of the Posts ... for sure ... but, I have saved a bunch of people some big dough with my Old School ways.

Gotten my good share of thanks, now and then.
Just happy to have the pleasure of writing for this site.
It's a gas to have somebody write that they got their bike tuned or at least running a whole lot better than it did before they checked-in, here.

Plus, it's good for a laugh every now and then, too.

We ought to give-out T-shirts for each months funniest Post or Picture!

I'm sure you can fake it. Grab a measuring tape and snarl at the camera.

    Okay, fine.

All kidding aside, I think it's a great idea!

Sno has already created the XJ products page ( visit it here ), which is based on cafepress.com. They offer calendars, that Sno would only have to have 12 pictures to fill.

    Here's my vote:

Lets start a new thread, and everyone can post their favorite "glamor shot" of their bikes. Then we vote on them.

You kidding? You and quite a few others have already helped me out quite a bit. In the past 2 months alone I have spent a couple of hundred dollars on just tools alone so's that I can work on my bike! Without the help from guys like you on this site, I would be stuck with a few CD's and a Haynes Manual... I would probably ask them plenty of dumb questions, but they would just sit there staring at me like I'm a retard...

As for the pics, I will see if I can come up with anything good. I might take a few pics at my job, or perhaps going up the san bernardino mountains, might be cool.

... darn, have to finish polishing my bike up first! If I can find the time for that....

I know what kind of picture I'd have in mind to take, but there's no way in hell I could pull it off.

Low camera angle, pointed slightly upward, bike parked on the lane, me glowering just off to one side in my work uniform, machines visible in the background... I suppose one could take two separate shots and composite them together, but I have zero skills with Photoshop.

I was poking around the galleries last night, and I saw one that would be perfect... a cat inside a helmet.

Great idea and since the new year is coming the timing is right.

I will start a new thread where everyone can post their pictures. Right now I can pick 4 calendars. So, we'll want at least 48 pictures :p

Ummm... I think I did that already. ;) Since the site software was rejecting new picture attachments, I just stuffed them in my gallery and linked to them directly.
