Signal lights

    I didn't know I had push to cancel signal switch, tell, when reassembly after steering bearing replacement, I decided to clean the switch mechanism .

    Oh yeah, I didn't know that either, haha, until I took it apart.

    Should I guess at the question ? lol - yes pushing should turn off signal lights but I usually return it to the center position myself because my signal cancelling unit is not working. You can spray electrical contact cleaner to clean up the parts inside.

    You sure it's the cancelling unit and not just a failed reedswitch in the speedo shell? If the reedswitch fails (common) then the cancelling unit doesn't think the bike is moving and it won't cancel.

    Oh dear ... that's another new one on me.. never herd of a reed switch.
