strange noise diagnosis

    I am getting my bike going and when I get it running it makes a bird chirping noise at ide. Any ideas?

    exhaust might be leaking past th header to head seals, apparently they can make that kind of sound, so on th other side Bobe7316's noise could be it. You could get a coupla feet of garden hose, put one end to yr ear and move th other end around th running engine to locate th sounds origin.
