Tiny passages in the carbs.

    How can I make sure that the tiny passages inside the carbs are clean? I am referring to the
    air mixture passage and others.

    Compressed carb cleaner worked really well for me! I know some people use compressed air as well. pretty much anything that will FORCE the crud out of the passages

    if you see a stream coming out from somewhere that usually means it's pretty clean :). not the best advice I know, but if carb cleaner can move through it then so should gas.

    I used my welding torch tip cleaner. It let me get the enrichment circuit as well as emulsion tube and its flexible enough to check all the passages. Plus a can of cleaner per carb and compressed air.

    I do the same, spray through the jet port till you see it come out of where it's supposed to come out of ;-)

    tip cleaners are kind of harsh, steel guitar strings are the way to go
