tire size

    howabout a 130 on a 650?

    i need input guys!!

    buying a tire this week!

    the manual says 120 for 650 has anyone tried 130?

    The biggest thing yop need to worry about is tire to chain (assuming it is chain) clearance. You do not want the tire to rub.
    Also, the larger the tire you use, the wider a rim you are going to need. Going from a 120 to a 160 might need a larger diameter rim. You should check with the tire manufacturer for recomended rim size for tire.

    I don't think 1 size up should be an issue. I have 130/90-16 rear tire on my XJ. If you want I can take some rough width and height measurements for you.

    nah i think i'll go for 120

    though i dont think 130 would be a problem!

    and i have a shaft btw!
