too many visitors?

    sno...man i think theres something wrong

    it shows 98 visitors, all but 2 in the "youraccount" area!

    I think your account from a guest means they are looking at someones profile.

    Not a great concern unless they are bots trying to harvest email addresses.

    Some forums have a restriction that guests can't look at profiles unless they register. Possible here?


    I find it a bit hard to beleive that there are that many XJ enthusiasts that don't bother to register.

    Yes, those could be Anonymous visitors, web crawlers or other. Not a big deal. HG is correct. This shows when someone is looking at a members user profile. Set your ‘My profile information’ to have 'fake email' address in it or set ‘My preferences’ to 'Show my Email Address' = No. Setting these will prevent anyone from harvesting your email addy :twisted:.

    The 'What year is your XJ motorcycle - 1980's+ poll' shows over 1556 votes and we only have 680 registered members. So, this somewhat indicates that there are many XJ owners out there that are just visitors but aren't registered site members. It is possible that they are actually viewing the site.

    I really appreciate you guys bringing this to my attention. Thank you :D .

    Sno, the poll does not remember if one has voted or not so it is possible to vote on it more than once. I know I did just to see if it would take the second vote.
