trouble with cold starts.

    Yes the levels are all the same at 2mm. I'm very cautious about setting them up right. I might just have to put the ugly carbs on and live with it. Bike really didn't like the 25 degree ride home, did fine on the freeway, but at low throttle is was not happy, don't know if it was just to cold for it, wouldn't think so after a 30 min ride at 65mph, yes it was a very cold ride for me, should have rode the DL650, it has hand guards and heated grip plus I can run my coat on full blast. Not on the XJ, only could run it on medium.

    Once warmed up it should run about the same at 25ºF as it does at 90ºF.

    Something is not right wth that rack of carbs.

    Thanks K-moe, I’m going to set the idle mixtures back to the stock 2 1/2 turns out. That is where they have run the best, but they are a little bit rich there.
