    Hi All

Apologies if this has been done to death - quick search did not reveal.. Just received a new Maxxis ProMaxx 100/90/19 for the front of my 550 and it is tubeless tire/tyre. Doubtless I could refit it with a tube but do I have to? Will the rim I have be OK to run tubeless (its the 'italic' Euro style)? Actually same goes for the rear which is also a Maxxis - I have to swap rims due to an out of round drum.

    ta!

Rim should be marked for tubeless application. And rim will have a small lip inside that a tubeless wheel may not have.

I'm guessing you mean the tubeless rim has the lip - yes?
