Headin to work on my rebuilt scoot yea!

Red light ok stop, Bam engine dies sputtering, cant get full throttle out of her hmmm.

Push the bike to nearest parking lot,I figure hey its a cold blooded bike.

Finally get her started (im thinkin) cold bitcH, cuz im mad about being embarrased having to push her through the lights and up the street!

Get 2 blocks from work another fit coming on throttle is sputtering damn bike.

Im thinking all kinds of scenarios, when I get a chance I roll her up in the shop, hmmm ok where to start.

"hey" lets check the gas (whoops) empty! fuel lo light was working before I rebuilt her, but not now just something else to look @ l8tr!

Ok call a friend ask him can you bring me one gallon of gas and a funnel.

Why one gallon the friend says and I say new paint dont want to take any chances!

So here comes my friend we start to fill it rag around funnel friend starts to pour the gas .

I says say how much gas did you bring he says I dunno know .

Thats about when the gas starts to spill ALL down the tank 8O .

Well not sure why Im posting this maybe to just get it off my chest , hey least it was nt one of those big problems I was imaging it was ,Right

Well anyways looks like maybe another paint job in the works !

I was really diggin this one, hohum Real dumn.

Say where is that moron award Its my turn to take it home.

If someone gets anything from this then atleast its not a total waste L8TR and Ridz safe...Ridz

siezed brakes, are you saying the pistons froze if so its time to rebuild them.

Grease gun is a better way to push them out.

I went the air route only cuz I did nt know about the grease gun method.

Please dont stick your brakes back on the bike if they are froze up.

Thanx for the reply and good luck.

Have any questions post them in the xjchat forum and some one will be along to help.

Good luck wit it! Ridz safe. Ridz 8)

Now that would depress me. I would almost want to endure the road rash I have on my arm now rather than to ruin my paint. Sorry to hear that! I beat you for the idiot award this week anyway for wiping out.

Aren't there some gas-resistant clear coats that you could use?

My wednesday was similar -- one thing after another.
First, at a customer's site, forgot key in ignition, battery dies....
Customer has charger, no biggie... Got her started...
Realized that speedo cable is mangled (WTF?)... A few cuss words later, back on the road, using tach to guess speed.
Came home after work, had to go visit buddy who recently lost his wife. Lots of potholes on the way, so I lost the damn license plate off the back, and didn't realize it until someone flashed their brights at me in the city (thankfully not a cop!)

Now a new speedo cable is on order, and the license plate is bolted on with tempered steel fasteners and nylon lockers :-D

Some days I just wonder if I should've drove....

Well anyway paints fine! I overdosed on the drama, I suppose   .

Well thanks for the responses, feel free to cut loose if you have a gripe I feel it helps and some times so does the feed back  .
