Curious who rides with a windscreen or without?

Most of my riding is in town, so during middle of hot summer I go without my windscreen in order to keep moi cooler.

Now that its turning cooler, I put it on to extend my riding season.

When I take it out in highway I always prefer the windscreen.

    Others?

My windscreen is on the bike all the time, because I'm lazy.

    I'm like k-moe, but different.
I have a windjammer that came with my XJ, but I haven't put it on . . . . too lazy.

I keep telling myself that I should for colder weather. . . .then I justify not putting it on by saying; "I like how clean the bike looks without it."

Mine's on all the time. This summer it changed from bug catcher to rock-bouncer.
There's a quarry near me. The trucks move at quite a clip.
A decent sized rock dropped off a truck, not sure if it bounced or flew directly into the screen, putting a jagged 2 inch-ish hole in it.
    Fortunately, Len stocks the screens.

I use a windjammer all the time , the season is so short here, depending on what shift I'm working, the first month and last month of my 6-7 month riding season I'm quite often driving either to or from work below freezing temps,
Then warm months I'm quite likely to be taking road trips in traffic at interstate speeds , so the frame mounted fairing gives me comfort and stability and it's less fatiguing in dirty turbulent air.

I have a Plexifairing that takes about 1 minute to install and 1 minute to remove. It is usually left to avoid bug blasts.

Yamaha bonnet fairing. Best money I've spent on extras. Always on the bike.

I started out with the windscreen off the bike. It came that way and I like the look of it. When it started getting cold, on it went. Now I like the riding with it on, so it will likely stay that way.

I never used to bother much, but when I was out all day long on the bikes I'd got used to having fairings and screens of various types simply to make it bearable. This was a state of affairs that lasted for well over two decades. It was only this year I got back on a couple of bikes without wind and bug protection and boy, it sucked, which is why I'm now fitting a Vetter to the GS and at the very least a windshield to the XS. The XJ is in for a special treat.

Putting my windsheild back on has given me another month of riding.

I do like the looks without it better.
