Hey Surge....just send me a PM and I will respond with all of the info and ordering details.

Supero-----you got that on quickly! Glad it worked out for you and thanks for the feedback. Sure does make oil changes easier.....besides the better filtration.

More filter surface area.........and depending on which filter selected, better filtration media.

I have seen for larger oil filters a finned piece with bonus magnets that slip over a filter to aid in cooling and the magnets grab up bad little metal bits as well. I want an oil cooler for mine but they are hard to come by.

Can we get more/better pictures and CURRENT links (or page number) to Chacal's listing for this?

I think I want one but that picture is not very clear and I'm not sure how hard it is to take of the stock style (YET).

I got mine today, ordered it from one of the links on the xs11.com site. One of the members has made a kit that includes the rubber "o" rings if you remove the tool after synchronizing the carbs. Very nice.

The "YICS Tool" is used to block the YICS passages (thus isolating the cylinders from each other) while doing a running vacuum sync.

Keep your filter housing and filter bolt when you switch to the spin-on filter adapter. There is a trend in the automobile world toward returning to cartridge oil filters, and you might want/need to switch back in a few years.

How much difference would the spin-on filter make?

My guess is that the number 1 improvement is easier oil changes?
and number 2 would be easier/cheaper part?
and number 3 would be better filter for cleaner oil?
and number 4 would be larger volume for more oil as well as larger surface area for cooler oil?

What filters do you use afterward?
and how much are the adapters anyways?

Ok guys, I have to dis-agree with a few of you. I just tried the site for the yics tool and the Oil filter and neither one would let me in, tried refresh and that didn't work either? Doesn't look so good to me? grunt007, 81'XJ 750 Seca, Mi.
