I'm not sure it this is where to suggest this, but I think it would be a cool idea for members to post their location if they're willing to let riders camp in their yards on trips, develop a map across the U.S. so people planing a trip can save some coin. Or if a rider breaks down they will know of someone willing to help in the neighborhood.

I think that is an awesome idea. Or at the very least, you could stop by and meet the people that have helped out so much.

the map we have is kinda generic, I propose a news letter that has phone numbers and addresses that members can carry with them, so when your out on a trip you can stop in and say hi, and get a cup of java or be able to set up a camp in the back yard kind of thing

Probably would be safer to plan you're trip, pm the members on your route, and pre arra ge your stops. I'm all for joining the cause, but I'm not going to post my number on the internet for all to see.

I will see what I can do about finding a map to use. Maybe it could be a program you download to your computer then manually have to add info but it would be better than nothing IMHO

I was just doing some searching for the map. If somebody wants to research this farther I typed Forum Member Map into Google. There are some pretty nice maps there. I am however too tired at this moment to dig too deep into it. Lets get this map idea rollin'. Have a good one.

Guys, I enabled "Maps" in the menu. I'm running FireFox 4 and it seems to be working fine. How is it functioning for the rest of you?
