It's an even better match for the typical rally field, though it's not supposed to be a camo colour! I spent this weekend at a rally at the St Peters Sports Club, at Netherseal in South Derbyshire. A live band each night in the hall, and camping on the field.

    today,Ivisited Wakazhishi shrine.
The shrine is a memorial place of young tank soldier. This tank is a imperial Japan army type 97, that fighted at Saipan.

Cliffy B, I like the red and black paint scheme. Most unusual.

Ok I wasn't on my XJ but I had to snap this one as #83 is my race number, only about 60km from home outside an RSA hall (Returned Services Association)[IMG]

That's a much better shot than the previous version, but you've got me thinking about where to go now. The only thing is, my XJ is off the road. I've been waiting on an insurance claim (another idiot ran up the back of me) but the bike was rideable, until the dreaded alternator chain tensioner broke up and stuck me in first gear. The claim has got to the point where I know I can keep the bike, so I'm making preparations.

Meanwhile, I'm riding around on the BSA; doesn't look anything like an XJ at all, so if I put up a photo of it here, you'll not be convinced...

But these shots below were taken last year at Great Yarmouth, in Norfolk; it's the Trafalgar monument. Admiral Lord Nelson was a son of Norfolk.
