Thanks for all the advice and for making these resources available. I Colortuned and synced the carbs like you recommended and it idles like a purring kitten! Just took it for a spin and it is running great! Thanks again for all you’ve done to help me resurrect my bike.

I just got my throttle shaft V- seal and over flow/fuel coupler o-rings. they came within the described time and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I cant wait to order some more parts.

What a terrific service. I've gone from knowing next to nothing to being somewhat knowledgeable about XJ Turbos largely as a result of diving in to the XJ4Ever catalog. I still have a ways to go before this beast is back on the road, but it helps knowing whatever parts I might need are one email and 4-5 days away.

Also having fun with 3D printing parts. I bought the LED-happy turn signal relay from XJ4Ever which doesn't fit the factory rubber relay holder. No problem, fire up the printer:

 

That's pretty cool @BigTex - would you be willing to contribute your STL file to the XJ STL library?

 

Happy to contribute! Didn't even know we had one. I have a few others, including a standard relay holder.

Where would I find such a library?

 

Right now, it is mostly in my imagination. Thingverse is great, but good luck finding anything. I think we need to have something on this site.

I've been meaning to lobby the site administrators create a forum called "XJ 3D Printing / STL Files" or something similar that could be used for discussion of and sharing of STL files. @chacal , @hogfiddles , @k-moe - what do you think of that idea?

 

I think that's a great idea, but I don't know how to set up a new forum like that.....k-moe would be the best bet on that subject.

 

I think SnoSheriff has to do that......
