XJ550 Maxim straight or drop bars

    Hey there, I want to put straight or drop handle bars on my XJ550 - I was wondering if anybody has done this successfully, I really don't like the sit up and beg riding position of the original bars - especially in the wind - if you have successfully done the conversion, could you tell me where you got them from? Do they clear the tank? I have straight handlebars on mine, which nearly work, but they knock into and scratch the tank on full lock. Many thanks in advance.

    I have Cafe Racer bars on mine and they fine but it's does get kinda close. I do have touching with the head light mounting bracket with my Seca tank swap, may not happen with a Maxim as it's lower slung
