    Buy a set of waterproof pre-filters for the pods. If you know its going to rain you can slip them on and it will keep water out of your engine. You can also leave them on when you wash the bike.

    I am running the same acewell speedo
    How dialed in have you got the rpm’s ?
    Did you just wrap the pick up wire around a HT lead?

    Engine guards are the universal 3 point XJ/UJM.....interestingly, they were cheap as chips....in the 80's.....hard to find now, I believe you can get them brand new, from Italy, for about 150 dollars!!!

    I really like this......most 'modified' XJ's I hate, but this has kept the XJ 'theme', whilst also being quite radically different !!

    750 seca are all square headlights

    I am looking to begin a build on my 81 can I get some ideas on seats, handlebars, removing the airbox and making that center area clear? Just trying to order parts to get started and crank out this project.
