XJ750 Seca Tank Swapout

    Hello all, I look forward to rebuilding this XJ750 with you all.

    I can’t find information that makes sense to me so I am hoping someone can help give me the info I need.

    I want a different tank entirely on this bike, something slimmer like a cafe racer tank. Everything I can find refers to the maxim or 650 tanks, but I want to go brand new replacement for that cafe style look. What do I need to be on the lookout for? Any good manufacturers?

    You will need to look for someone who can cut and weld, because there is no non-factory drop-on replacement tank that will fit over the frame without modification.
    Modify the tank, not the frame.

    Just google or look on eBay for a tank that you like. Once you find the one you like, buy it and figure out how to mount it.
