XJBikes.com question

Can anyone confirm my suspicion that this website first started in 2005? (I think) I know it was started by SnoSheriff. Any other little tidbits of information like that?

 

if the dates of the postings are complete it looks like the first postings started in 2005. I just went to the last page in both General and XJ Chat. Don't know if pages have been deleted due to storage space.

 

On the bottom left of every page you'll see the hit counter:

"We have received
121829341
page views since
August 9, 2005"

 

Thanks, guys. I guess the better way to phrase my question would have been if anyone knows of this site having existed in another form prior to that. It's sounding like the answer is no.

You may wonder why I'm asking... I got a little side project I'm cooking up. Let's just say I'm putting my graphic design skills to good use.

I have an announcement that I’d like to share with all of you. Some of you may know that there is a site called XJowners.com. Ed graciously agreed to pass the XJowners site into my hands. I will be merging the 2 sites into XJBikes.com. This is great news for all of us XJ riders. As a result we will have one site so we don’t have to be scattered in multiple locations .

I will be moving XJBikes to a new server. During this time the site will be down (unusable) until everything is completed. This is the first move to another server so hopefully everything will be quick and painless. The process may get started this weekend. I've been a member since 07 but had been reader/lurker since it began (and was a lurker on xjowners.com

Don't confuse THAT one with yet another group called "XJ-owners Group" (XJOG), of which I am also a member, along with several others here.

It's always possible you have just as extensive a Jeep collection because you just like things with the letters X and J in them.
