First Florida Carb Clinic 28-29 March 2009

    It is way past time for the Florida Carb Clinic. It is going to take place on the 28th and 29th of March in Flagler Beach which is about 15 miles North of Daytona. We now have the tools and hopefully the knowhow to pull this off. I trust it will be the first of many of these winter carb clinics. Check your calendars and make a decision as to whether or not you will be here for the clinic. Please also let us know what kind of bike…or bikes you will be bringing with you so we can be ready for you.

    Please let me know where you will be coming from. We have an alternate location (Palm Bay Florida) but it depends where everyone will be coming from. The location will be Flagler Beach but if enough people are driving up from South Florida we could change the location very easily.     I am having the wife "check" her caledar to see if this is doable. (It is one of the few things left on my list). I have an 82 650 RJ. I think the valves are good (if my checking was done correctly). I am just north of you in St. Augustine. There was another thread on a Florida Carb Clinic and some interest shown over there. Perhaps a merge of the two threads is in order if thats possible.

    I am interested in coming. Is there a list somewhere of "must replace" parts, "should replace" parts, "often have to replace" parts, etc. So I can have what I need or might need?

    Its either that, or plan on a teardown/inspection. Stop. Order parts. Get parts. Rebuild. Synch. Resynch. Resynch again. Color tune. And pray that all is well in the world and it goes according to plan and you bike purrs when all is done.
