Decent YouTube Fork Seal Replacement Video

    In addition to all the information on this forum, I found the YouTube video below (the link takes you to part 1 of 3) to be very helpful. The forks they are working with are much more complex than the XJ bikes I know about (which I readily admit my breadth of knowledge is limited). Nonetheless the overall process is very similar and helped me quite a bit. Hope it helps you if it's the first time you are attempting this repair.

    Note in place of the fork seal driver tool (about $90.00) I took the advice offered on this forum and used a long 1.5 inch diameter piece of PVC pipe taping it with a rubber mallet to seat the oil seal. Just make sure the end you drive with is the super straight factory cut end.
