Saturday the temps felt positively balmy. It was a blistering 42*F. (compared to the 20’s and low 30’s that it’s been). Prepped my wife’s bike (mine is waiting on new tires) and took it out for a ride. It felt good to be on a bike again. 8) Took it to work this morning, it was a little cold but not bad. (28*F) 8O As long as the roads stay clear I think I am back to riding.

We have a had a few days where I could have taken the bike out but my wife kept reminding me that there is a ton of salt on the roads.

Reasoning prevailed and I did not take it out. However, I did come up with the idea that I should get another xj for the that very purpose. One that's not pretty and won't mind peeking out on a cold winter day.

Wife didn't like that idea either.

I have had a notion or two, on warmer days (high 30s and maybe even a 40) to throw the gas tank on my half finished project and go for a quicky. Gawd I want winter to be over so baaaaaad!

I Should be getting my tires in the next few days.

My wife won't ride the 750 until she takes the MSC. She had her pemit last seaon but only rode the GN125 around. I worked with her on my 750 in parking lots and she did fine. I let her take it around the neighborhood, got to the first stop sign and didn't put her foot down fast enough and over it went. So until spingtime I will have my choice of bikes to ride.
