Just wondering what sort of fuel economy do other oz XJ900 riders get. Last tank of typical commuting was 5.8l/100Km which is a mix of 100/80/60km/hr.

Good to hear. Just think it's a bit lean with the 4into1, always seems "cold blooded" and plugs are border line. Chacal's pages suggest 2up in jet sizes for stock box and 4/1. Got a 100K service coming up was going to change them. Although the back crackle as i slow down is nice..

If it's of any help....I get from 5.6 to 5.9 Litres/ 100K depending on how heavy my right hand is. Stock air filter, stock jets, homemade 4-1 (th collector box bit) with Supertrapp muffler and good plug colour. Not that I know 900's but I would have thought that th bigger engine would use noticably more fuel.
