Then I suggest you look at the new Shoei, RF-1100 series!

Light, quiet and the air really moves through, keeping your noggin cooler during those hot riding days.

But, the best part about this brain bucket is that you can take the liner out and "wash" it by hand!

So, at the end of a hot, sweaty, riding day, and you are at the hotel/motel, you can pull the liners, rinse them out and air dry them. Next day, your helmet is fresh and ready to go!

I picked up the Shoei, RF-1100 Diabolic Revelation. Nice graphics and I also sprang for the dark shield. But Shoei is really proud of this new helmet, and it retails for $499.

I didn't pay that, because I have a good relationship with my local bike shop.

I'll put up a picture, later today.

I bought from the clearance section at Dennis Kirk. That was a mistake. The size was way off from the ones that I tried on in stores, And I had to pay the shipping to get a different size. The third try finally fit, but the plastic fairing was cracked from shipping. After it was all said and done, my GREAT BUY at $27.00 cost me about $75.00 and a month of waiting. And the real kicker is, I don't even like the dumb thing. It catches too much air and is way to noisy. I'm sure that my experience is somewhat unique as DK is a pretty good vendor. But keep in mind that items in clearance are probably there for a reason.
