First Off, the bike is just outside State College, PA. I'd like $1,200 obo.
I bought this around 3 months ago as a stock bike that did not run. I always wanted to build my own bike, So I went for it. It is a 1982 Yamaha Maxim Xj750, 4 cylinder bike with a 5 speed tranny. This bike is FAST!!!!! Not a good learner bike. It is Shaft Driven. The carbs were rebuilt with a new carb rebuild kit, and everything else was pretty much changed after that. the Bike has been hardtailed using 3" lowering struts, that could go back to being springs if wanted. It has a custom seat, Clubman handlebars, New cables, All new Aftermarket turn signals, with all the wiring done, Custom taillight made just for this build, It has Homemade fender mounts, Homemade Forward Controls. It has a Suicide Shifter and Clutch, but could be converted back, I have the parts to do it. The Bike has a CLEAR title, and under 12,000 miles on it. Installed a new tank, new petcock, and Gas cap. I have also removed the factory airbox to run Open POD filters. This Bike is a Head turner, I rode it to it's first bike nite, a couple nights ago and people had all kinds of questions and just looked it over, and said about how cool it is. It is not 100% done, meaning The frame is not completely painted, and some little things here and there, but the bike is rideable. Also Added a 1930's style SPARTO taillight. Also has a custom Sissybar.

The Bad- After the bike warms up, the idle gets real high and holds there, you can ride it like that, but it gets kind of annoying after awhile. I'm not to sure what to check, I took the carbs back off and rechecked them, and Sync'd them with no luck to that problem. I was told that it's probably an Air leak (vaccum leak) somewhere, I just havent been able to locate it. And that the rest of the frame could use paint. This bike is not Perfect but is definetly rideable and very cool, people just stare when you ride in or by them.

Does it not have a parking space?

Good luck with your sale anyway.

I've seen people park bikes sideways in spaces in front of their cars. Probably only a good idea for assigned spaces.

I don't park my bike at home. We have only street parking. So I rent a garage down the road a bit.

FYI for about $50/month (or local prices) you could get a self storage 5x10 or 5x5 space to store it in.
