Front brake switch cable

    What is the secret to removing the cable from the front break lever on an xs1100. It is probably the same across the xs and and xj models.

    I got a new master cylinder but someone cut the ends off the cable.

    If it's the kind that simply plugs into the perch, there's a hole on the underside, and it's held in by a "barb." Take a small pin drift and gently depress the little plastic tab latch.
