What started as a parts search. Turned into something quite different!

While on a quest to locate a useable 900 engine for my 750 Maxim chopper project. I stumbled across a 900 Seca parts bike. Upon further investigation it was found to be more than just a parts bike. 60-70% complete. Clear title, and spare parts!!

The deal was made, and fortune smiled. Lucille is now loaded on the truck, and headed for her new home. She will need a lot of work. A ton of TLC, and more patience than a man can muster.

    And the spare parts?
An extra 900 engine, and wiring harness complete with TCI for the Nemesis chopper project!! Talk about killing two birds!!

The cost: 2 days labor for 1 days wages. The Virago wire wheels, and front end cost me more.

I may be in the market for a nice comfortable heated dog house in a few days!

That right there is how I ended up with my 650. Looking for something else, stumbled upon it and couldn't pass it up.

There seems to be no cure for this; the only relief from the symptoms is a bigger garage.

Your MAS is running rampant!! And SPREADING!!

I have to thank Rickomatic. If he had not locked the spare motor that he has into the sale of his bike. I never would have found this one.

I do need to locate some parts for the spare engine though (carbs, case covers, Generator, Starter). The usual suspects!

    Just an update.
Lucille made the 2300 mile trip to her new home with no problems.
Will post a parts wishlist for her this weekend when I get a chance to give her a good check.

99% of the missing parts have now been aquired, or located, and awaiting aquisition. Lucille is once again a basically complete bike, and awaits full rebuild.

Many Thanx go out to the members that have help me so far. Your help is much appreciated.

The spare 900 motor was traded off to another members numbers matching project. So I am in the market for another 900 engine for the Nemesis project. If any one knows of one available. Pm me the info.

    Thanx
